During these very hot summer days, it's important that our air conditioners be working properly. Therefore, we ask our members to make sure that all of the windows and the front doors remain closed.
From Rabbi Vilk: I have been accompanying those remaining of the Ethiopian Jewish community waiting to make Aliyah. I returned a few days ago from another visit to those wonderful communities, and I would be happy to speak about the topic with anyone interested. Unfortunately, the young people in Gondar are unemployed, mainly because in Ethiopia people also work on Shabbat. They are in need of laptops. If any of you have a computer in good condition—it doesn't have to be new—and can donate it after wiping out all personal data, I would be happy to pass it on to them. Besides that, we need a powerful computer for one of the young people, primarily for use in AI and editing. Thank you, and may we experience complete redemption soon, G-d willing
