פרשת השבוע

הודעות

• מזל טוב לטניה ואלכס פומסון על הולדת נכד, אייר יוסף, בן לנעמי ואיתי פומסון.
• יום ירושלים: תפילת ערבית חגיגית תתקיים בשעה 19:55 הערב, יום חמישי, ליל כ"ח באייר. יהיה כיבוד קל אחרי שני המניינים בבוקר למחרת.
• כמנהגנו, בין מנחה קטנה בשבת ב-18:45 לערבית, נקיים סעודה שלישית חגיגית לכבוד יום ירושלים. את הסעודה תורמת משפחת הבא, לעילוי נשמת אמו של משה – סעידה בת חתון הבא.
• לפיכך שיעורי הרב וילק: רק לימוד דף יומי יתקיים השבת, ולא שיעור הרב אחר הצהריים.
• גם לימוד ואמירת תהילים לנשים לא יתקיים בשבת זו.
• תיקון ליל שבועות: הציבור מוזמן לתיקון שיתקיים בליל שבועות – יום חמישי, אור לו' בסיוון 21/5, בשעה 22:00 – ראו את תכנית התיקון כאן.
• הדלקת נרות שבת בשעה 18:54 – ראו עמוד זמני תפילה.

Parshat Hashavua

Announcements

• Mazal tov to Tanya and Alex Pomson on the birth of a grandson, Iyar Yoseph, a son to Naomi and Ittai Pomson.
• Yom Yerushalayim: a festive arvit will take place tonight, Thursday, May 14, beginning at 7:55pm. Light refreshments will be served after both morning minyanim.
• Per our custom, on Shabbat, between mincha ketana at 6:45pm and arvit, we will have a communal se’udah shlishit in celebration of Yom Yerushalayim. This year's se’udah is contributed by the Habba family, in memory of Moshe's mother – Sa'idah bat Chatoun Habba.
• Therefore… Rav Vilk’s Shabbat shiurim: only the shiur on Daf Yomi will take place this Shabbat – at 6:30am – and not the afternoon shiur.
• Also, the women's Tehillim group will not meet this Shabbat.
• Tikkun Leil Shavuot: All are invited to our tikkun on Thursday evening May 21, at 10:00pm – see details here.

• ליל שבועות:  הציבור מוזמן לתיקון ליל שבועות שיתקיים בליל שבועות, יום חמישי, ה' בסיוון 21/5 – ראו את תכנית התיקון כאן.
• לימוד ואמירת תהילים לנשים יתקיים השבת בשעה 17:30. פרל בורו ודבורה פרייסבלום תדברנה.
• שיעורי הרב וילק יתקיימו השבת – גם דף יומי בשעה 6:30 בבוקר שבת, וגם שיעורו בין מנחה לערבית.

  • Mazal tov to Ayelet and Michael Rosen-Gillis on the birth of a grandson, Oz Shmuel, to parents Yakir and Rebecca Rodin-Gillis.
  • Mazal tov to Chava and Avraham David on the marriage of their granddaughter, Yahel David, the daughter of Keren and Yair, to Gil, the son of David ז”ל and Perach Gindi.
  • Mazal tov to Anne & Jonathan Rand on the birth of their grandson, Lennox Rhodes Rand, the son of Carly and Zev Rand of New Jersey.
  • Yom Yerushalayim: We will celebrate Yom Yerushalayim in the upcoming week, both with a communal seudah shlishit next Shabbat, and with a wonderful tour of our neighborhood Bak'a on Wednesday – see details of the tour and signing up for it here. 
  • Erev Shavuot:  All are invited to our Tikkun Leil Shavuot on Thursday evening May 21st – see details here.
  • The women's tehillim group will meet this Shabbat at 5:30 pm.  Pearl Borow and Devorah Priess-Bloom will speak.
  • • Rav Vilk’s Shabbat shiurim will take place this Shabbat – both Daf Yomi at 6:30 am Shabbat morning, and his shiur between mincha and arvit.

אסתר גיטל נשמן ע"ה

אימה של חברתינו היקרה, סוזן פריימן.

 

הלוויה התקיימה ביום שני בארה"ב.

סוזן החלה לשבת שבעה בניו-יורק, ותשוב ארצה בבוקר יום חמישי להשלמתה.

ביקורי ניחומין בבית משפחת פריימן – רחוב שמשון 2, פינת דרך בית לחם, קומת קרקע:
ביום חמישי    –  21:30-16:00;
ביום ששי       –  13:00-09:00;
במוצאי שבת  –  22:00-20:30.

מניין יחיד בבית השבעה:
יום חמישי – מנחה וערבית בשעה 19:15.

Esther Gittel Nashman a"h

mother of our dear friend, Susan Nashman Fraiman.

The funeral took place on Monday in New York.

Susan has begun sitting shiv'a in New York, and will return on Thursday morning for its remainder.

Condolence visits will be welcome in the Fraiman home – 2 Shimshon Street, corner of Derech Beit Lechem, ground floor:
Thursday  –  4:00 to 9:30 pm;
Friday       –  9:00 am to 1:00 pm;
Motza’ei Shabbat – 8:30 to 10:00 pm.

Sole minyan at the shiv’a home:
Thursday – Mincha-Arvit at 7:15 pm.
