דברי הרב וילק: אני מלווה את קהילת שארית יהודי אתיופיה הממתינים לעליה. חזרתי לפני כמה ימים מעוד ביקור בקהילות הנפלאות שם, ואשמח לספר על הנושא לכל המעוניין. לצערי הצעירים בגונדר חסרי תעסוקה, בעיקר בגלל שבאתיופיה עובדים גם בשבת. הם זקוקים למחשבים ניידים. אם יש למי מכם מחשב במצב טוב, לא צריך חדש, ותוכלו למסור אותו אחרי מחיקת כל המידע, אשמח להעביר אליהם. מעבר לזה, אנו זקוקים למחשב חזק לאחד הצעירים, בעיקר לשימוש ב-AI ועריכה.

From Rav Vilk: I have been accompanying the remaining Ethiopian Jewish communities awaiting Aliyah. I returned a few days ago from another visit to those wonderful communities, and I would be happy to speak about the topic with anyone interested.Unfortunately, the young people in Gondar are unemployed, mainly because in Ethiopia people also work on Shabbat. They are in need of laptop computers. If any of you have a computer in good condition — it doesn't have to be new — and can donate it after wiping out all personal data, I would be happy to pass it on to them.Besides that, we need a powerful computer for one of the young people, primarily for use in AI and editing.Thank you, and may complete redemption come soon, G-d willing.
