In advance of Memorial Day, there will be two screenings of the film "Rotenberg" (trailer) at the Begin Center on Monday evening, May 6. First screening 6:30pm, second screening 8:30pm. Buy tickets here.
There will be a showing of the award-winning film "1945" about the destruction of Hungarian Jewry — to raise funds for ALEH: children with severe disabilities. The film is in Hungarian, with English subtitles, and will be shown at the Begin Center on Monday evening, May 13, at 7:30pm. There will be a short lecture first by
Dr Charles Landau entitled "Hungary 1944-45, Destruction, Devastation and Discovery". Advance booking and flyer here.
