קרן צדקה

בחודשיים האחרונים היינו עסוקות מאד בועדת הצדקה. טיפלנו בבקשות לעזרה בתשלום עבור דלק לחימום, מכשירי חשמל ביתיים חיוניים (מקררים ומכונות כביסה), חשבונות מים וחשמל לפני ניתוק, תיקון חלון שבור בשבוע השלג ומצבים דחופים נוספים. בעזרתו הפעילה מאד של יעקב בסטהוף הצלחנו להעביר את הכספים הדרושים תוך 2-4 ימים מקבלת רוב הבקשות. נתנו עזרה, תמיכה ותקוה למשפחות שהגיעו אלינו בלי תקוה.

עכשיו אנחנו נמצאות במצב חדש שטרם היה לנו: הכסף בקרן אזל. קרן הצדקה ריקה כרגע, ואיננו יכולות להֵענות לבקשות חדשות עד שנקבל תרומות נוספות. באוירה של פרשת "תרומה" אנחנו פונות אליכם בבקשה לעזרה. אם התכוונתם לתת כסף לקרן – עכשיו זה הזמן! אם לא התכוונתם לתרום – מבקשות שתשקלו שוּב.

תרומות שיועברו דרך PEF יש לרשום לפקודת קרן הצדקה של בית הכנסת עמק רפאים. המחאות בשקלים ניתן להעביר למנחם זר כבוד או ליעקב בסטהוף. מידע נוסף ניתן למצוא באתר בית הכנסת.

  • Tzedaka Fund.

For the last 2 months the Tzaddakah fund has been very busy – we have
handled requests for heating fuel, critical appliances, electric and water
bills, the repair of broken windows and other emergencies. With the
incredible help of Ya'acov Bestoff, we have managed to turn around most of
these requests within 2-4 days. We have given aid, support and hope to
families who come to us when there is no more hope. Some of the heartfelt
responses we have received are posted on the shul's bulletin board.

And now, something new has happened. We have run out of money. The Tzaddakah fund is currently empty and we cannot accept any new requests until we have more donations. In the spirit of parashat "Trumah" we are turning to you now for help. If you have been planning to give money to the fund, now is the time. If you haven't been planning, we ask you to consider it.

Dollar donations through PEF should be written to "Beit Keneset Emek Refaim – Tzadakah Fund" Shekel checks should be given to Menachem Zer Kavod, or Ya'acov Bestoff. More details are available on the shul's website.
