• השבת נחדש את המניין הראשון בלילי שבת. השבוע מנחה במניין הראשון בשעה 17:30. נבקש מהמשתתפים הקבועים במניין הראשון להשתדל להגיע בזמן כדי לוודא שיהיה מניין לפחות 10 דקות לפני הזמן.

• ועד בית הכנסת החליט על נהלים חדשים בהקשר לנוכחוּת ילדים בבית הכנסת. ילדים מגיל 5 ומעלה המגיעים לבית הכנסת חייבים להיות או מחוסנים או מחלימים או אחרי בדיקה מהירה ביום שישי עם תוצאה שלילית. ילדים בכל גיל חייבים לעטות מסכה בתוך בית הכנסת. ילדים הנשארים בחצר יכולים להיות בלי מסכה. אנחנו מעריכים את שיתוף הפעולה של הורים וסבים בעניין הזה.
• מנין זוּם האחרון יתקיים במנחה/מעריב ביום א׳ 3/4/22 בערב. תודה לכולם שהשתתפו.

• • Mazal tov to Ruth and Asher Ostrin on the birth of a grandson, a son to Yael and Assaf Livneh, and a new brother for Negev and Dekel.
  • Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron and Pearl Borow upon the birth of a great granddaughter, daughter of Gili and Yisrael Blass, granddaughter of Ephraim and Yedida Borow and Rabbi Yonatan and Shifra Blass of Neve Tsuf.
  • Mazal Tov to George Lowell on the engagement of his granddaughter Batya Lowell of Ramot, Jerusalem, to Yossi Bluming, an oleh chadash and lone soldier (chayal boded) from Potomac, MD.
  • Starting this week we will restart the early Friday night minyan. This week the early minyan will be at 5.30pm. We ask people to arrive early to be sure we have a minyan.
  • Attached is a letter of thanks from the Lone Soldier Center to kehila members for providing them with a Shabbat meal.
  • Attached is a letter of thanks for the Purim donation to Amutat Isha L’Isha.

  • The va’ad has decided on important new procedures regarding children at shul. We appreciate the cooperation of parents and grandparents in this matter. Children 5 years and older must be vaccinated, or recovered from COVID, or have tested negative on a rapid (antigen) test on Friday. Children of all ages must wear a mask inside the building. Children outside do not need a mask.
  • The final Zoom minyan will take place Sunday evening, April 3. Thank you to all who've participated.

כאן ברברה גולדין. אני מבקשת עזרתכם כדי לספק 2 ארוחות שבת למרכז לחיילים בודדים בארנונה. שבת המיועדת לנו אי״ה היא פרשת שמיני, 25 למרץ 2022.

חיילים הבודדים האמיצים אלה, צעירים כצעירות מהתפוצות, עוזבים את בטיחות וביטחון משפחותיהם ובתיהם כדי להגן על זכותנו לקום כל בֹּקר. אנא תעזרו להראות להם איך אומרים "תודה!"

Hi everyone and Shavua Tov!

Barbara Goldin here again, enlisting your help to provide 2 full Shabbat meals this week, March 25, for the Lone Soldier Center, only 1½ kilometers away in Arnona.

These wonderful young men and women from around the world leave the safety and security of their homes to join our IDF. They put their lives on hold, as we go about our daily lives.

Please sign up on the spreadsheet below. The food should be delivered to Bet Haarava 9 on Friday between 9-12. If you are unable to transport the food, please email me at ShmuelGoldin@gmail.com and I will happily pick up your food.
If you need it, a volunteer can come ourside to pick up the food from your car.
