On Motzei Shabbat Yitro (Feb 3) immediately following Arvit (6:00pm) there will be a general meeting of members to elect a new va’ad, to hear reports and for general discussion. Four va’ad members are required to leave after their 5-year term and we are seeking candidates. יש כמה מקרים שאב המשפחה משרת במילואים. האמהות זקוקות לעזרת מטפלות עבור ילדים עד גיל 8 לשש שעות בשבוע. וועדת קרן הצדקה של הקהילה הסכימה לסבסד במידה רבה את שכרן של המטפלות. חוה סקליר הצליחה לגייס 5 מטפלות מצוינות והשבוע הפרויקט יצא לדרך.
בשבת שעברה תרם מוטי שור בקבוק יין מהיקב שלו, יקב היוצר, לכל המשפחות במלון לכבוד שבת.

Our community continues to offer support to the evacuees in the Caesar Hotel.
There are a number of families where the fathers are serving in the army. The mothers need extra child-care for 6 hours a week for children under 8. Our Tzedakah fund agreed to provide a substantial subsidy. Hava Sklare succeeded in recruiting five excellent caregivers and the project is now underway.
Last Shabbat Moti Shor donated a bottle of wine from his Hayotzer Winery to each of the families at the hotel.

על פי הוראות פּיקוד העורף לאחרונה מותרת התקהלות של 300 בני אדם בתוך מבנה בית הכנסת ובחצר האחורית התקהלות של עד 30 אנשים. אין לשבת או לעמוד בתפילות בחצר הקדמית. במקרה של אזעקה על כולם להיכנס פנימה ולהישאר בפנים למשך 10 דקות לפחות.
לא יתקיימו קידושים המתוכננים בשבתות הקרובות.

IDF Homefront Command has raised the number of worshippers attending Beit HaKnesset to up to 300, of whom 30 may be outside in back – the ‘pardes.’ There is no need for a sign-up sheet at this time. The advisory still stands that no one should sit or stand for tefillot in the front courtyard.
If a siren sounds, all should shelter inside the building for at least 10 minutes.
