Wishing a refuah shlema to our dear member Chaya Sela, who suffered a heart attack early Yom Kippur morning. Here is a letter from her: "Dear friends, I absolutely must thank you from the bottom of my heart for the interest, brachot and prayers on my behalf. You have warmed my heart. I have returned home now, thank God, and look forward to a full recovery soon. Chag sameach and b'surot tovot. — Chaya"

קיבלנו השבוע מסטיב טוברמן סרטון קצר שצולם בברית מילה של דניאל טוֹברמן בהושענא רבה בדיוק לפני 25 שנה.

This week we received from Steve Toberman a short video which was filmed at Daniel Toberman's brit milah on Hoshana Rabbah exactly one quarter century ago.
In the video, you can see the men's section of the shul as it appeared before our big renovation (with a couple of seconds view at 4:07 of where the women's section was).
The renovation was completed in the summer of 2000 by our building committee (Jane Medved, Diane Rosenschein, and Rabbi Baruch Rackovsky ז״ל). Here is a diagram of the previous floor plan.
