יישר כח לכל הנדיבים שתרמו בתשע"ט 50,000 ₪ לחלוקה לנזקקים לקראת חג המצות כדלקמן:
- שלוש לשכות הרווחה קיבלו כל אחת 8,000 ₪ בתלושים: קטמון, גילה ובקעה-תלפיות. הן מחלקות את הסכום, וגם תרומות נוספות כך שכל משפחה ברמת נזקקות א' ו-ב' מקבלת 200 -300 ₪ לפי מספר הנפשות.
- גם לעמותת "אישה לאישה" (המקלט לנשים מוכות ירושלים) תרמנו 8,000 ₪ לחלוקה בין הנשים שבמקלט ולאלה הנעזרות בעמותה בדירות מיסתור.
- באמצעות חברנו ניסים אביצור חולק סכום נוסף של 8,000 ₪ בין העניים המוכרים והצובאים על בית כנסת ישורון.
- עוד 4,000 ₪, בתוספת בונוסי קנית תלושים מרמי לוי, חולקו ידנית לעניים שבאים לבקש תרומת קמחא דפיסחא בבית הכנסת, כ"א 100-200 ₪. סך הכל חולקו 44000 ₪ והיתרה הועברה לחלוקה לפני חגי תשרי תש"פ.
- נראה כי תרומותיכם אמנם מגיעות למקומות הראויים והבדוקים ועוזרות למשפחות הנזקקות לחגוג עם מעט יותר שמחה ואורה. יהי רצון שנהיה תמיד בין התורמים ביד רחבה ולשנים רבות,
- נבקשכם גם השנה לתרום ביד רחבה לטובת הנזקקים באמצעות לשכות הרווחה בקטמון, בבקעה-תלפיות, בגילה, בתלפיות מזרח ובגונן. את התרומה ניתן להעביר לקרן הצדקה באמצעות עמוד התשלומים באתר הקהילה ולציין "קמחא דפיסחא" או באמצעות תיבת הדאר שבעזרת גברים או בהעברה בנקאית.
חשוב לתרום ככל האפשר מוקדם יותר כי הלשכות מעבירות את התרומות לנזקקים שבועיים לפני החג ויוצאות לחופשה משפחתית לא יאוחר משבוע לפני.

Kimcha d’Pischa / Ma’ot Chittim (Gifts for the Needy for Pesach) 5780
Thank you to all the generous donors who contributed NIS 50,000 last year for distribution to those in need to help them with Pesach expenses. The money was given out as follows:
- Three local welfare offices each received NIS 8,000 in coupons: Katamon, Gilo and Baka/Talpiot. They divided up this amount, in combination with other donations, so that each family in the A and B categories received NIS 200-300, according to the number of people in the family.
- We also donated NIS 8,000 to the “Ishah La-Ishah” organization (shelter for battered women) for distribution among the women in the shelter and those whom they assist who live in “safe” homes.
- Through our member Nissim Avitsur, an additional NIS 8,000 was distributed among the needy who are regularly assisted by the Yeshurun Synagogue.
- Another NIS 4,000, plus bonus coupons from Rami Levy, was handed out to those who came in person to request help from our Kimcha d’Pischa fund—about NIS 100-200 each. In this way, a total of NIS 44,000 was distributed, and the balance was held over for the chagim of Tishrei 5780.
- You can see that your donations do indeed go to worthy and reliable places and help families in need to celebrate with a little more joy and light. May we always be among the generous donors for many years to come.
- This year, we would also like to donate generously to the needy through the welfare offices in Katamon, Baka-Talpiot, Gilo, East Talpiot and Gonen. Your gift can be channeled through our Keren Tzedakah fund via the shul website at yael.org.il/תשלומים, marked “Kimcha d’Pischa”, or through the mailbox in the men’s section (to the right of the door), or by bank transfer, with the note: “Kimcha d’Pischa”.
It is important to make your donation as soon as possible because the offices hand out their gifts to those in need two weeks before the holiday as the staff leave for their own Pesach vacation no later than a week before.
