Ladies –

If you're reading this e-mail, that means you made it through! A marathon of balancing the physical and the spiritual. We are all seasoned acrobats now. So – it's time to get out the sweaters, snuggle up, take out winter projects, think of raindrops (remember that thunder on the first night of sukkot!) and do some learning for "Chodesh Cheshvan". Even as things end – they begin again, and what better time to get together, than shabbat "Beresheit"?

• WHO: Chana Leah (Lisa) Aiken
  Chana Leah is one of our favorite teachers in Jerusalem. She is a psychologist, torah scholar, tour guide, international speaker on Jewish topics and the author of 11 books. Her latest book "Family Guide to Touring Israel" will be available for you to look at on shabbat.
• WHAT: "Parashat Beresheit – What really happened in the garden of Eden?"
  In ENGLISH – PLEASE BRING A CHUMASH
• WHY: to get us up and going again
