  • אתמול סבלנו ממתקפת סַייבֶּר על אתרים ישראליים רבים.
  • יוּפְּרֶס, החברה בחולון המספקת לנו שירותי אחסון אתרים, יחד עם מערך הסייבר הלאומי, עבדה יום ולילה לנטרל את המתקפה וּלהחזיר את האתר מגיבויים עדכניים.
  • הבוקר חזר אתר בית הכנסת למצבו הקודם.
  • פגישות זוּם מפורסמות באתר אך הם עצמאיות: צריכים רק קישור. אנו מקווים שפגישות זוּם לא תותקפנה, אבל אם זה קורה חלילה הנה הנוהל. במידה ואורח לא מאצלנו חודר לפגישה באופן קולני ו/או עם מסרים אנטישמים — פשוט תצאו מייד מהזוּם ותודיעו למֵייל info@yael.org.il.

  • Yesterday we suffered a cyber-attack directed at many Israeli websites.
  • uPress, our website service provider, together with the Israeli National Cyber Authority, worked day and night to neutralize the attack and restore our website from up-to-date backups.
  • This morning our site is completely back in business.
  • Zoom meetings are publicized on the website but are actually independent of it — all you need is a Zoom link to join a meeting. We hope that our Zoom meetings will not be attacked, but it is always a possibility, and here's the drill. Should an unwanted guest invade one of our meetings, with vocal Antisemitic messages,  calmly leave the Zoom meeting immediately. Report the incident to info@yael.org.il and we'll deal with it.

  • בפעם השניה בשבע שנים האחרונות, שולחים אליכם את הודעות האלו במֵייל ולא באתר בית הכנסת, כי החברה שמספקת לנו שרותי אינטרנט, ווּפּרֶס, נפרצה. לכן תמצאו קישורים לזוּם גם למטה. נודיע לכם בקרוב כשיחזור אתרנו לפעולה בטוחה.

  • הנחיות חדשות של משרד הבריאות:
    • משׂרד הבריאות פרסמה הנחיות לפתיחת בתי כנסת.
    • ביום ראשון יתכנס הוועד כדי לקבוע מדיניות בעניין. לאחר מכן תצא הודעה לחברי הקהילה.
    • בינתיים ננהג כפי שנהגנו בשבועיים האחרונים עם תפילות בחצר בית הכנסת תוך ריחוק בין המתפללים ועטיית מסכות. התפילות הוירטואליות דרך הזוּם גם ימשיכו.
  • נקיים ערב לימוד בערב שבועות, פרטים בהמשך.

  • בליל יום ירושלים, אור לכ"ח באייר, (21/5/20) בשעה 20:00 תתקיים תפילת ערבית חגיגית וירטואלית דרך זוּם  לכבוד החג, עם מאיר פכלר ושמעון קהן.
  • התפילה בזוּם כאן.

  • אחרי התפילה נשמע שׂיחה קצרה מפי גדעון להמן – "אנקדוטות בירושלים המתחדשת".

  • For the second time in the last seven years, we are sending you this week’s notice by email and not on the website, because our website host company, uPress was hacked. Therefore, we are including certain Zoom links below in this notice. We will inform you, hopefully soon, when our website service is restored safely.
  • Thank you to Lila and George Lowell for dedicating last week’s class by Rabbi Aviad Tabory in memory of Lila’s mother, Chava Rachel Gelbart bat Harav Yisrael Issar and Sara Perel Alpert.
  • New Ministry of Health Guidelines Regarding Batei Knesset:
    • The Ministry of Health has issued new guidelines regarding the reopening of Batei Knesset.
    • On Sunday the Va’ad will consider the implementation of the guidelines. An announcement will be made shortly afterwards.
    • Until any new decision is made, we will continue to hold tefillot as we have in the last few weeks, i.e. outside, maintaining distance and wearing masks. Zoom virtual tefillot will also continue.
  • We expect to hold an Erev Limmud on Shavuot. Details to be announced next week.

Yom Yerushalayim tonight – Festive Arvit via Zoom

  • Tonight, Thursday 21 May at 8:00pm, there will be a festive ma’ariv via Zoom in honor of Yom Yerushalayim, led by Meir Fachler and Howie Kahn.

Georgette (Esther) passed away Wednesday night, May 15.
She is survived by her son Uri and her three brothers Shlomo, Raphiel and Yossi.

or by Zoom here every day between 12:00-1:00pm and 6:30-7:30pm
