בעניין נגיף הקורונה

בס"ד

לכבוד חברי הקהילה שלום וברכה,

אנחנו נמצאים בימים אלו בשעת חירום ברמה עולמית עקב התפשטותו של נגיף הקורונה, ובשבוע האחרון אנחנו עדים לעליית מדריגה גם במדינת ישראל. נתפלל לריבונו של עולם שיעצור את המגיפה וישלח רפואה שלמה לעמו ועולמו.

בנוסף לכך, חובה עלינו לנקוט משנה זהירות בכל הקשור להנחיות של משרד הבריאות בכל הקשור לחובת שהייה בבידוד. במיוחד הדברים אמורים בקהילה שלנו שברוך ה' זכינו להיות בין אנשים רבים שמאריכים ימים והם נמצאים בקבוצת סיכון גבוהה יותר.

חג הפורים קרב ובא והחג מזמן התקהלויות גדולות הן בבית הכנסת והן במשתה ושמחה.

להלן הוראות הלכתיות רלוונטיות, לפי הוראות הרה"ר לישראל ובהתאמה להנחיות משרד הבריאות:

  1. לאיש או אישה שצריכים על פי משרד הבריאות לשהות בבידוד – חל איסור מוחלט להגיע לבית הכנסת, גם לא לקריאת מגילה.
  2. למי שיש מגילה כשרה בביתו יקרא ממגילה זו בברכה, גם בלא טעמים.
  3. למי שאין מגילת אסתר, במצב זה יש לשמוע את קריאת המגילה בשידור חי ע"י בטלפון או בסקייפ. לשם כך יש לבקש מקרוב משפחה/חבר שיניח פלאפון על יד בעל הקורא. שימוש באמצעים אלקטרוניים מותר רק בדיעבד, למי שאין ביכולתו להגיע לבית הכנסת או לשמוע מגילה מאדם אחר.
  4. משלוח מנות ומתנות לאביונים – השוהה בבידוד ימנה אדם אחר (יכול להיות כל אחד מבני המשפחה שחייב במצוות) להיות שליח עבורו לתת משלוח מנות ומתנות לאביונים.
  5. משתה ושמחה – גם השוהים בבידוד חייבים במשתה ושמחה.

Dear members of our Kehillah,

We are currently in a world-class medical alert due to the spread of the Corona Virus. Over the last week we've witnessed a rise here in Israel, too. We pray to God to stop the epidemic and heal His people and His world.

We must exercise caution in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines regarding isolation, especially considering that our community is privileged with many members blessed with long life, who are in a higher risk group.

Purim is near and the holiday brings crowds at both synagogues and parties.

The following are relevant halakhic instructions, according to the instructions of the Israeli Chief Rabbi and in accordance with the Ministry of Health:

  1. For any man or woman who, according to the Ministry of Health, is required to remain in isolation, there is a total prohibition on attending synagogue, not even to read the Megillah.
  2. Anyone with a kosher Megillah in his or her home should read it with a bracha, with or without singing the ta'amim.
  3. For those with no Megillah, you should hear the reading live via phone or video chat. Feel free to ask a friend or family member to put a cell phone by the reader. This applies only to those who cannot attend synagogue.
  4. Mishlochei Manot and Gifts to the Poor: anyone in isolation should assign someone else to be his proxy.
  5. Banquet and celebration – even those in isolation must keep this mitzvah.
