עלות קידוש בסיסי כיום היא ₪2,050. היו כמה שאלות לגבי שימוש בכֵּלים חד-פעמיים מפלסטיק. מי שמעדיף להשתמש רק בכלים מנייר ומחומרים טבעיים יכול לעשות זאת בתוספת ₪200.
בעבר היו חברים שהוסיפו פריטים אחרים לתפריט הקידוש, כולל מגשי פירות, מאפים מהודרים יותר, וויסקי וסלטים. כמובן שתוספות מעלות את עלות הקידוש.

General Information about Kiddushes at Beit Knesset Emek Refaim

It has become the tradition in our shul the last couple of years to have a Kiddush for Shabbat M’vorchim. In the past, the Kiddush was paid for by the Shul unless there was someone from the congregation who wished to sponsor it to celebrate a family occasion. Members should know that partial sponsorships are available starting at ₪500. This is a good way to commemorate the birth of a grandchild or great-grandchild or an engagement or wedding. You might also consider sponsoring a Kiddush to remember a loved one's Yahrzeit.
The cost of a basic Kiddush today is ₪2,050. There have been inquiries regarding the use of plastic at our Kiddushes. Anyone interested in using only paper and natural products can do so; however, it will add ₪200 to the cost of the regular Kiddush.
In the past there have been members who have added items to the Kiddush menu. These additions have included fruit platters, fancier pastries, whiskey and salads. Of course this makes the cost of a Kiddush higher.
