Tav Hayarok (Green Pass) at Beit Knesset Emek Refaim
The Vaad has decided to adopt the rules for “Tav Yarok”.
Admission to the Beit Knesset property will be permitted only to:
• Those in possession of a vaccination certificate.
• Those in possession of a certificate of recovery from Covid.
Attendance indoors will be limited to 50 people.
Registration in advance is required for tefillot of the evening and morning of Shabbat here and Purim here.
When registering, members are asked to declare that they are in possession of one of the above mentioned certificates.
Guests, including family of members, will be asked to show relevant certificates to the gabbai or other shul official.
Children under 16 may not enter the Beit Knesset.
Existing precautions will continue: face masks, distancing (at least one empty seat between people) and personal hygiene.
These rules will apply from the evening of Purim until further notice.

A double mazal tov to Yael and Gideon Lehman on the bar mitzvahs of two grandsons: Kfir, the son of Yechiel and Idit Lehman of Bet Shemesh, and Yoav, the son of Yishai and Ayelet Lehman of Mazkeret Batya.

Lone Soldiers
It is our shul’s turn to cook for the Lone Soldier Center in Memory Michael Levinnext Shabbat, February 19, 2021. We were so gratified last November at the amazing enthusiasm and response that was received for this project. These young men and women who serve in the IDF and National Service leave their family and friends, at great personal cost. Let’s match their wonderful idealism with our culinary talents.
Please sign up here for whatever dish you can prepare. Be specific when signing up for meat or chicken, to lessen the likelihood of duplication. All food needs to be dropped off at Bet Haarava in Arnona by next Friday morning.
