מזל טוב לאברהם דוד בהגיעו לגיל גבורות (80) ועל הופעת ספרו "למען ירושלים לא אשקוט, אסופת אגרות ירושלמיות מראשית תקופת השלטון העותמאני", הוצאת מוסד ביאליק.
על פי הוראות פיקוד העורף מותרת התקהלות של 300 בני אדם בתוך מבנה בית הכנסת. בחצר האחורית מותרת התקהלות עד 30 אנשים בלבד. קדימות תינתן למי שנרשם מראש כאן.
באם יגיעו יותר מתפללים מהמספר המותר, הגבאים יבקשו מהנוספים לצאת ממתחם בית הכנסת.
אין לשבת או לעמוד בתפילות בחצר הקדמית. אחרי התפילה על הקהל להתפזר בזריזות.
במקרה של אזעקה על כולם להיכנס פנימה ולהישאר בפנים למשך 10 דקות לפחות.
לא יתקיימו הקידושים המתוכננים בשבתות הקרובות.
ביטחון: יהיו חברים עם כלי נשק בתפילות בשבת. בנוסף כל חבר הנושא נשק ברישיון מתבקש להגיע חמוש.
אנחנו מעוניינים ליצור רשימת חברי קהילה בעלי רישיון לנשיאת נשק. רשימה זו תאפשר תיאום טוב יותר בתכנון וביצוע תורנות ביטחון ותגובה לשעת חירום בבית הכנסת . בעלי נשק מתבקשים להתקשר למיכאל גיליס michaelgillis120@gmail.com.

בשבת ב- 16.30 יתקיים לימוד ואמירת תהילים לנשים בבית כנסת יעל. הרבנית פרל בורו תתן שיעור קצר ולאחר מכן אמירת תהילים לחזרתם בשלום של חיילינו, הפצועים והשבויים. אַתֶּן מוזמנות לשתף סיפור או דבר תורה באנגלית או בעברית. אנא הביאו עמכן ספר תהילים. זכרו שמספר האנשים מוגבל ל-50.

Thank you also to the committee members who arranged the tefillot: Simcha Edel, David Olivestone, Alexis Rodgold, Marsha Roth and Bill Wilson, and to Howie and Mimi Kahn, who saw to the considerable challenge of seating everyone, and to the gabba'im, Simcha Edel and Alex Pomson.

By order of IDF Homefront Command, the number of worshippers attending Beit Haknesset has been limited to 300, of whom 30 may be outside in back– the ‘pardes.’ Priority for attendance will be given to those who register in advance here.
* No one may sit or stand for tefillot in the front courtyard. After tefilot, please leave as quickly as possible.
* If more people arrive than permitted, gabbaim will ask those in excess to leave.
* If a siren sounds, all should shelter inside the building for at least 10 minutes.
Kiddushim scheduled for the coming weeks are postponed until further notice.
Security: On Shabbat there will be armed members at all services. In addition, members licensed to carry a weapon are asked to come armed to Beit Knesset.

A women’s tehillim and learning session will take place at the Yael shul this Shabbat afternoon at 4:30pm. Pearl Borow will give a short shiur, followed by recitation of tehillim for the safe return of our soldiers, the injured, and those held captive. You are invited to share a story or dvar torah in English or Hebrew. Please bring a sefer tehillim with you. Bear in mind that space is limited to 50.
