בס"ד לכל חברי הקהילה,
לפני מספר חודשים פניתי אליכם בבקשה לסייע לאחד החברים שנקלע למצוקה כלכלית קשה. מאז, לאורך כל התקופה חברים רבים תרמו סכומים נכבדים מאוד, ויותר מזה, התעניינו וביקשו לעזור בכל דרך אפשרית. אספנו כמאה אלף ש"ח שהיו עזרה גדולה למשפחה, ובסיוע והכוונה אנו מקוים כי המשפחה תמצא את אושרה ואת יציבותה כלכלית.
שוב גיליתי קהילה נפלאה, שללא רכילות וללא בקשת הכרת הטוב, רק עם רצון טוב ופשטות, מתגייסת לעזור ולתמוך. בימים רגילים אנו כושלים לעיתים בחוסר תשומת לב שלנו לאורחים או לחברים וחברות הזקוקים להזמנה לארוחה או למילה טובה, ואני מקווה כי היכולת לשלנו להתגייס למשימה חשובה זו תקרין עוד לימים הרגילים ולמשימות הקטנות.
בשם המשפחה אני מודה לכל התורמים, ומאחל כי נזכה להיות לעזר ולתמיכה בעיקר בשעות טובות ושמחות.

To our members,
Several months ago, I asked your help for one of our members in trouble. Many of you responded, some contributing substantial amounts. Moreover, people expressed their concern and asked how else they could help. We have collected ₪100,000 to date — an enormous relief to this family — which we hope will help them reach a level of financial stability.
Once again, I am reminded of something special about our kehillah. With neither gossip nor credit-seeking — just plain good will — you turned out to help and support. On regular days, we often fail to notice guests or friends who would appreciate a kind word or a meal invitation, and I hope that our ability to meet the big recent challenge will translate into smaller, day-to-day things, too.
Speaking for the family, I want to thank all of the donors. I wish us all ongoing mutual support and the ברכות it bestows.
