יום השלושים לאירוע שמחת תורה ולמלחמה

יום א' הקרוב, כ״א במרחשוון, הוא יום השלושים לאירועי שמחת תורה ופתיחת המלחמה.

בשחרית שביום ראשון בשני המניינים נֹאמר ״א-ל מלא רחמים״ לזכר הנרצחים והנופלים, נאמר תפילה לחיילי צה"ל והתפילה לשלום השבויים והחטופים. בתהילים בסוף התפילה נוסיף שיר המעלות ממעמקים. כל הקהילה מוזמן לבוא לתפילות בשעה 6.00 ובשעה 6.45.

This Sunday marks the shloshim since the events of Simḥat Torah and the beginning of the war. On Sunday at Shaḥarit of both minyanim we will recite “El Maleh Rachamim” for the murdered and the fallen, prayers for the armed forces and for those seized and kidnapped in Gaza. We will add to the Tehillim at the end of shaḥarit. All are invited to attend either at 6:00am or at 7:45am.

בימים אלה אנחנו חוששים משתי סכנות. (א.) פגיעה מיריית טיל (ב.) התקפה של מחבלים על בית הכנסת. בעניין הטילים החשוב הוא להיכנס מיד לתוך בניין בית הכנסת עם השמעת אזעקה. הנושׂא השני של תקיפיה על בית הכנסת הוא יותר מורכב. הכוונה בהוראת למטה היא שבית הכנסת לא תהיה מטרה קלה ובולטת להתקפה. על כן אנחנו מבקשים מהמתפללים לא להתקהל בחצר הקדמי ולשמור על דלתות סגורות בצד המערבי של בית הכנסת. תודה רבה מראש על שיתוף הפעולה.

• בתפילות בשבת יהיה בבית הכנסת לפחות חבר אחד הנושא נשק.
• נשתדל שגם בתפילות בימי חול יהיה חבר חמוש בכל תפילה.
• הדלתות הכחולות בצד המערבי תישארנה סגורות.
• אין להתקהל בחצר הקדמי של בית הכנסת.
• במקרה של פעילות חשודה יש להתקשר מיד למוקד 100.
• הגבאים והנושׂאים בנשק צריכים לבוא לבית הכנסת מצוידים בטלפון – גם בשבת.
• במקרה של אזעקה יש להיכנס מיד לתוך הבניין.

Security Arrangements in the Current War Situation

Currently, we have two safety and security concerns: (a.) the impact of missiles, and (b.) the danger of a terrorist attack on the Beit Knesset. Regarding missile strikes the important thing is to come into the building when a siren sounds. Regarding a potential attack, matters are more complex. The intention of the instructions below is that the Beit Knesset should not be an easy or obvious target for attack. We therefore ask members not to congregate in the front courtyard and to keep the doors on the Western side closed. Thanks to all for your cooperation.

• During Shabbat tefillot there will be at least one armed person present.
• We will do our best that there also be someone armed present during the week.
• The blue doors on the west side should be kept closed.
• Members should not congregate in front courtyard.
• In the event of any suspicious activity immediately call 100.
• The gabbaim and those carrying weapons should come with their phones – including on Shabbat.
• In the event of a siren being sounded everyone should enter the building.
