  • קורונה – דלתות פתוחות: הקורונה עדין איתנו. מתוך דאגה לבריאות הציבור גם בימים קרים כאלו יש להקפיד להשאיר את הדלתות פתוחות.
  • הרב וילק יתן שיעור בדף יומי ב-06:30 ויתקיים גם שיעור על ידו אחרי מנחה.

  • Mazal tov to Noa and Elior (Vilk) Omer on the birth of their son. Mazal tov to the Saba and Savta, Rav Shlomo and Shoshi Vilk, and to great-grandparents Claire and Michel Revel. 
  • The Vilks look forward to welcoming kehilla members to a ‘Shalom Zachar’ at their home this Friday night at 9pm at 2 Miriam Ḥachashmonait Street.
  • On Shabbat Mevorchim Shevat (Parshat Va’era), members who have turned 80 during Corona years will be honored with a kiddush.
  • As we seem to be entering another wave of Covid 19, we ask that anyone with symptoms (cough, fever etc.) consider not attending Beit Knesset, even if the individual has not yet tested positive.
  • Corona – Open Doors Policy: COVID-19 is still with us. There will be days when we feel the cold, yet doors must remain open.
  • Rav Vilk: daf yomi at 6:30am and shiur after mincha.
  • Fast of 10th of Tevet: begins: 5:04am, mincha: 4:10pm, end of fast: 5:11pm.

  • ביום ו׳ 16/12/22 בבוקר תתקיים אזכרה לגדעון להמן ז״ל. ראו פרטים פה.
  • אנא התגייסו להכנת 2 ארוחות למרכז החיילים הבודדים בשבת פרשת וישב /שבת מברכים 16/12/22. חיילים בודדים אלו באים מכל קצוות תבל , עוזבים את בתיהם על מנת להתגייס לצה"ל. בתוכם נמצאים גם  כ-30% ישראלים שהוריהם מתנגדים לשירותם הצבאי. כל אחד שמעוניין לקחת חלק במפעל חשוב זה יכול  להירשם פה. ניתן להביא את האוכל לרחוב בית הערבה 9 ביום שישי בין 9:00 ל-12:00. במקרה ואתם נתקלים בקשיים להביא את האוכל, היו איתי בקשר ב- shmuelgoldin@gmail.com. תזכו למצוות ותודה מרֹאשׁ.ברברה גולדין

    • Anyone who would like to help provide 2 meals for the local Lone Soldier Center for the Shabbat of December 16-17, please click here. These wonderful young men and women from all over the world leave the safety and security of their homes to join the IDF. 30% are young people from within Israel whose parents don’t want them in the army, and are also considered “lone soldiers”. The food should be brought to 9 Bet HaArava St. on Friday morning, Dec. 16, between 9am and 12noon. If you are unable to deliver the food, contact me at shmuelgoldin@gmail.com. חברים שטרם שילמו דמי חבר לשנת תשפ״ג מתבקשים לשלם בהקדם. ניתן לשלם בכרטיס אשראי דרך האתר. הסכום הכולל לשנה זו הוא 1000 ש״ח למשפחה ו-500 ש״ח ליחיד.

  • The kiddush of this year’s Simchat Torah Chatanim and Kallah will take place on Shabbat Chayei-Sarah (November 19) following the second minyan. Mazal tov and thank you to all.
  • The community is reminded that according to the rules of the Beit Knesset: “One can only serve as a ‘shaliach tzibbur’ with the permission of the gabbaim and there are no automatic ‘chazakot’ or ‘chiyuvim’ in this regard.”
  • The Annual General Meeting of the Amuta of the Beit Knesset will take place on Motzei Shabbat ‘Chayei Sarah’ – 25th Cheshvan/November 19 – at 7:30pm. Anyone interested in being a candidate or nominating one for the va’ad please contact Michael Gillis. See 2021 Financial Report here.
