  • Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron and Pearl Borow on the birth of a great-granddaughter, a daughter born to grandchildren Rabbi Shmuel and Jessica Zimmerman. Mazal tov to the grandparents, Joe and Becky Zimmerman.
  • Another double mazal tov to Ruthie Rackovsky. The first simcha is the birth of a great-granddaughter born to Benny and Revaya Schwartz. Mazal tov to the grandparents Yoel and Shoshana Rackovsky. The second simcha is  the Bat-Mitzvah of Ruthie’s great-granddaughter, Shalva Yakira, the daughter of Ariel  and Yardena Bannett, and the granddaughter of Rena Bannett.
  • This coming Monday, 29 Shvat, January 31st, the Singer family will have a “shloshim” for their mother and grandmother, Sue ז״ל. The family will meet at the grave at 3:00pm. To help the family ensure a minyan, please RSVP if you plan to participate at the gravesite. For directions to the parking lot adjacent to the grave plot, use this link.   • בעקבות מצב הקורונה, שיעוריו של הרב וילק לא יתקיימו בשבת אחר הצהרים בתקופה הקרובה. בריאות אֵיתנה לכולם!

    • דלתות וחלונות צריכים להישאר פתוחים.
    • חברים הנמצאים בקבוצת סיכון גבוהה מתבקשים לשקול את האפשרות להתפלל בבית עד יעבור זעם.

  • Rav Vilk will not be giving shiurim on Shabbat afternoons for the next few weeks due to the current Corona situation. Wishing everyone good health.
  • With the current resurgence of COVID, we must all behave responsibly and adhere strictly to the guidelines:
    • Entrance to the shul requires a valid green pass / “tav yarok”.
    • A mask covering both mouth and nose must be worn.
    • Children who have not been vaccinated or who have not recovered from COVID should not be inside the shul.
    • Doors and windows should remain open.
    • Members who are in high risk groups should consider remaining at home until matters improve.

הצטרפו נא אלינו לשבתון השנתי. השנה בטבריה. נתחיל את סוף השבוע המרגש בסיור מיוחד בטבריה הרוֹמית ועוד אתר בעקבות הסנהדרין. נבלה שבת נינוחה יחד באכסניה היפה – Sea of Galilee HI Poriya. נהנה מארוחות שבת, משיעורים מעניינים, ומתפילות מעוררות השראה.

Dear Friends,

Join us on the annual Yael Shul Shabbaton, this time south of Tiberias. We'll start the weekend with a unique tour of Roman Tiberias and sites from the Sanhedrin period. We'll spend a relaxing Shabbat in the lovely Sea of ​​Galilee HI Poriya hostel. We'll enjoy festive Shabbat meals together, interesting lectures and inspiring tefilot.

  • Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron & Pearl Borow on a big milestone: the engagement of their first great-granddaughter, Devorah Zimmerman, to Hillel Freiman. And another mazal tov to the Borows on the birth of a great-granddaughter to grandchildren Noam and Chana Borow.
  • Elisheva Hochbaum invites the members of Yael to a kiddush in honor of her new grandson and in gratitude for good health. The kiddush will be held this Shabbat after the 9:00am minyan, at approximately 11:00am. 
  • A message from Mimi Dickman — "Moshe and I would like to thank the shul, the members, and particularly Steve Zerobnick for the food, the outpouring, and the facilitation of Moshe's mother's shiva here in Israel. Returning to such kindness and support made the process much easier and softer. Thank you all so much."
  • Starting on Shabbat Parshat Vayeshev, we will restore the minyan for mincha gedolah at 1:15pm.
  • The general meeting of the Amutah of Beit Knesset Emek Refaim will take place on Motzei Shabbat Parshat VaYeshev 27/11/21 at 7:30pm in the Beit Knesset.
