במשך שנה האחרונה בישלתי למרכז חיילים בודדים בארנונה. גיליתי שהרבה בתי כנסת באזור עוזרים להם. בתקוה שגם אנו נעזור לחיילים הבודדים, התנדבתי לרכז את הפרוייקט.
תורו של בית הכנסת שלנו יהיה בפרשת חיי-שרה – שבת מברכים, הבאה עלינו לטובה, 13/11/2020. נא לחצו כאן לראות את הטופס, בו תוכלו להכין כל מנה שרק רוצים. זה פרוייקט לא קטן, אבל עם קהילתנו החזקה והנדיבה, אני בטוחה שנעמֹד בפני האתגר. כנראה כל בית כנסת יעזור שלוש או ארבע פעמים בשנה. כולנו מתגעגעים להכין אוכל לאורחים, אולם מדובר כאן לא בהכנסת אורחים ממש אלא בהאכלת חיילי צה״ל בודדים!

Over this past year I have been cooking for the Lone Soldiers Center in Arnona whenever it was needed. I discovered that many shuls in the area provide meals on a rotating basis. In the hope that our shul could help as well, I volunteered to coordinate this project.
It will be our shul's turn to prepare meals next Shabbat, Friday, November 13. Please click here to see a spreadsheet, where you can sign up to prepare any dish you would like. It is a big project, but, with our strong membership, I am sure we can accomplish this. Apparently each shul will be called on approximately 3 to 4 times a year to fulfill their rotation. We all miss cooking for company — so here is your chance to help cook for a small part of a lone soldier's company!
