• מזל טוב לחברינו טל גנזל (טל היא הנכדה של חברנו היקר, אבי אייזקס ז"ל ) וידידיה טוברמן (בעל קורא אצלנו שנים רבות) לנישׂואיהם ביום ראשון השבוע – נר שמיני של חנוכה. שתזכו להקים בית נאמן בישראל. מזל טוב למשפחה המורחבת גנזל, אייזקס, טוברמן והרבט. סטיב טוברמן ודינה הרבט מזמינים את הקהילה לקידוש רבא בחצר בית הכנסת בשבת לאחר המניין המתחיל ב- 9 .

• מזל טוב ליחזקאל ופייגי פוזי לאירוסי נכדתם ברכה אריאלה אלון, ביתה של תמימה אלון מיד-בנימין, לשילה אמדדי מכרמי צור.
• מזל טוב לרות רקובסקי ללידת הנינה בחנוכה, בת לשי ועינה ישי ונכדה ליונה ויונדב קפלון.
• מזל טוב למימי ומשה דיקמן שחגגו את בת המצווה של נכדתם גפן שרה ולהורים רַחל ויוסי סוויד.
• מזל טוב מיוחד למאיר אדלשטיין, החבר הוותיק בקהילתנו, על הגיעו לגבורות. מאיר הגיע לשכונת בקעה עם משפחתו ב-1949 והשתתף בתפילות המרגשות הראשונות כילד בן שבע. מאחלים לו הרבה שנים טובות ובריאות יחד עם ברכה וכל בני המשפחה.

• עמוד התשלומים באתר שוב פועל.
• בשל אילוצים חשבונאיים אפשר לתרום לבית הכנסת ולקרן הצדקה עד ליום 25.12.2021. המשך התרומות יתאפשר מה- 01.01.2022.
• הוחלט להשהות את מניין מנחה גדולה בשבת עד לבוא האביב.
• צום עשׂרה בטבת ביום ג׳ הקרוב. הצום יחל ב-5:19 ויסתיים ב- 16:59. מנחה ב-16:00, מעריב ב-16:49.
• ראו עמוד זמני תפילה. הדלקת נרות שבת: 16:00.

Announcements

• Mazal tov to Tal Genzel and Yedidya Toberman (a longtime בעל קורא of ours) on their marriage this past Sunday, 8th candle of Hanukkah. Tal is the granddaughter of our late beloved member Avi Isaacs ז״ל. Mazal Tov to the Genzel, Isaacs, Toberman and Herbet families. Steve Toberman and Dina Herbet invite the congregation to a Kiddush Rabbah in the courtyard of our shul immediately after the 9 o’clock minyan.
• Mazal tov to Meir Edelstein, our kehillah's most veteran member, on reaching גבורות, his eightieth birthday. Meir's family moved to Baka in 1949, and he remembers the very emotional first tefilot, when he was a child of seven. We all wish Meir many happy and healthy years together with Bracha and the whole family.
• Mazal tov to Fayge and Carl Posy on  the engagement of their granddaughter Bracha Ariella Alon, daughter of Tmima Alon of Yad Binyamin, to Shiloh Amdadi of Carmei Tzur.
• Mazal tov to Ruthie Rackovsky on the birth of a great-granddaughter, born on Hanukkah. The parents are Ayana and Shai Yishai and the grandparents are Yona and Yonadav Kaploun. 
• Mazal tov to Mimi and Moshe Dickman, who celebrated the Bat Mitzvah of their granddaughter, Gefen Sarah, and to the parents, Rachele and Yossi Swed.
• The credit card payments page on the website is working again.
• Please make your contributions to the Beit Knesset and Charity Fund by 25.12.21 because of accounting considerations.  Further contributions will be welcome beginning 01.01.22
• Shabbat minchah gedolah is suspended until the Spring.
• The fast of the Tenth of Tevet is Tuesday, December 14. The fast will be from 5:19am until 4:59pm. Mincha will be at 4:00pm, ma’ariv at 4:49pm.

חיילים הבודדים האמיצים אלה, צעירים כצעירות מהתפוצות, עוזבים את בטיחות וביטחון משפחותיהם ובתיהם כדי להגן על זכותנו לקום כל בֹּקר. אנא תעזרו להראות להם איך אומרים "תודה!"

Barbara Goldin here once again enlisting your help to provide full Shabbos Meals for the Lone Soldier Center, only a mile away in Arnona. Our designated shabbos is next week, the shabbos of December 10th.

These incredibly brave young men AND women from all over the world leave the safety and security of the families and homes, to defend our right to wake up each morning and go about our business. Let’s show them how we say thank you.

Anyone who is able to cook, but cannot transport the food, please email me at shmuelgoldin@gmail.com. I will happily arrange to have your food picked up. It is my pleasure!

Those who can transport their food, please drop your food off at Bet Haarava on Friday morning . Exact time will be sent out a few days before. If necessary, a volunteer can come to your car to pick up the food.

Please use the attached spreadsheet to sign up for meat or type of chicken, to lessen the possibility of duplication.

If you have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to email me.
