• Mazal tov to Professor Monty Noam Penkower on reaching the venerable age of 80. He is also celebrating 20 years since his aliyah and taking on his post as gabbai every day in our shul.
• Mazal tov to Devorah and Moshe Preiss-Bloom on the birth of a grandson, a son to Lia Hadas and Giora Angel.
• Rav Vilk will not give his class between mincha and aravit this Shabbat.
• Masks: There is still no formal requirement of the Ministry of Health to wear masks. Nevertheless, with the current outbreak of Covid, it is recommended that masks be worn inside the Beit Knesset particularly when it is crowded. Anyone uncomfortable with masking is welcome to daven outdoors.
• Security: No special instructions have been received from the police regarding security in the present situation. Nevertheless, the va’ad asks those licensed to carry a weapon to come armed to the Beit Knesset.

• חברנו ירון שור נמצא אתמול (19.6) חיובי לקורונה. בשבת התפלל במנין השני בליל שבת. ישב שורה אחת לפני האחרונה לימין הבימה
• חברנו מיכאל גיליס נמצא היום (20.6) חיובי לקורונה. בליל שבת במנין השני, במנחה ובערבית התפלל בחוץ בחצר הפנימי. בשבת בבוקר התפלל במניין הראשון. הוא יושב בשורה האחרונה לימין הבימה וגם שימש כגבאי. התפלל שחרית במניין של 6.00 ביום ראשון וביום שני.
• מחוסנים מעל גיל 60 שהיו בקרבת 2 מטר ממנו במשך יותר מ-15 דקות חייבים לעשות בדיקת PCR. אלה שמחוסנים ומתחת לגיל 60 יכולים להסתפק בבדיקת אנטיג'ן מהירה ביתית. אם הבדיקה שלילית אין חובת בידוד למחוסנים ולמחלימים.

Confirmed COVID Case in Beit HaKnesset

• Our friend Yaron Schur was confirmed positive for Covid yesterday (19.6). On Shabbat he attended the second minyan on Friday night. He sat in the second row from the back to the right of the bimah.
• Our friend Michael Gillis was confirmed positive for Covid today (20.6). Over Shabbat he attended the second minyan on Friday night, minchah and arvit. He sat outside in the inner courtyard. On Shabbat morning he attended the first minyan sitting in the back row to the right of the bimah and he also served as gabbai. He attended 6.00 shacharit on Sunday and Monday.
• Anyone over 60 who is vaccinated and who was in close contact with them (i.e. within 2 metres for over 15 minutes) must take a PCR test. Those under 60 and who are vaccinated can take a home rapid antigen test. If the test is negative there is no quarantine requirement for those who are vaccinated or recovered.
• We wish them a רפואה שלמה.
