פרשת שמיני – פרשת החודש – מברכין

  • מזל טוב לפרופ. מרדכי נחום פנקובר ופיליס מאיר ללידת נינים: סופי ליאורה למירי ויונתן מאיר בוודמיר; אייל אורן לאלישבע ואיתן הייק במודיעין.
  • ליילה (לאה) ויוּג׳ין קורן מזמינים את הקהילה לקידוש הודיה אחרי מניין השני להחלמתה בע״ה של ליילה מאירוע לב. זו הזדמנות להודות לכל חברי הקהילה ומחוצה לה שתמכו והציעו עזרה בשנה האחרונה.
  • לא יתקיימו שיעורי הרב וילק השבת.
  • יתקיים ב-17:30 לימוד ואמירת תהילים לנשים בשבת. תדברנה פּרל בורו וגין מדווד.
  • כמו בכל שנה מארגנים קופסאות שימורים ופרטי מזון מכל הסוגים כולל חמץ. אנו נמסור אותם למי שזקוקים להם. נא לשׂים אותם בקופסאות קרטון שיהיו בבית הכנסת עד ל-18.4.24. תודה לשׂשׂון צ׳קוטאי לאירגון ולכל החברים שמסרו את משלוחי המנות בפורים. בית חיילים הבודדים בארנונה ומקלט לנשים שבבקעה שמחו לקבל אותם עם המון תודה.
  • אל תשכחו קִמְחָא דְּפִסְחָא.
  • אירוח לעת הצורך….לפרטים תלחצו כאן.
  • ניקיון פסח – בבקשה לנקות את התאים במושבים. יש להחזיר את הספרים למקומם.
  • מכירת חמץ – ניתן לבצע מכירת חמץ דרך האתר של ארגון ״צהר״.
  • תפילות בליל הסדר – בגלל השעה המאוחרת נקדים את תפילת ערבית. זמני תפילה בליל פסח: מנחה גדולה: 14:00, מנחה קטנה 19:00, ערבית 19:20. אין לקדש לפני 19:37.
  • יתקיים מנין מוקדם בערב שבת ב-17.30 ב-5/4/24.
  • ראו עמוד זמני תפילה: הדלקת נרות שבת: 18.26 ; הבדלה: 19:25.

  • Mazal tov to Prof. Monty N. Penkower and Phyllis Mayer on the birth of their newest great-grandchildren: Sophie Leora, born to Miri and Yonatan Mayer of Woodmere; and Eyal Oren, born to Elisheva and Eitan Haik of Modi'in.
  • Lila and Eugene Korn invite the kehillah to kiddush after the second minyan in gratitude for Lila's recovery and in appreciation of the many people whose support during the past year enabled them to reach this day.
  • Rav Vilk’s classes will not take place this Shabbat.
  • The Women’s Tehillim and learning class will meet this Shabbat at 5:30pm. Pearl Borow and Jane Medved will speak.
  • As every year, we are collection closed food item, including chametz, to be distributed to the needy. Please place the items in the cartons in shul by April 18. Many thanks to Sasson Chacoty for organizing this; he also thanks the kehillah for their Purim gifts, that were sent to the Lone Soldiers Center in Arnona and to the Baka Women’s Shelter. They were received with delight.

  • Pesach cleaning – members are asked to clean out the boxes at their seats and to return books that belong to the Beit Knesset to the shelves.
  • Selling ḥametz – This can be done through the website of “Tzohar” here.
  • Tefillot on Erev Pesach – Because of the lateness of the hour, we will daven arvit early. Minchah Gedolah: 2:00pm. Minchah Ketanah: 7:00pm. Arvit: 7:20pm. Kiddush not before 7:37pm.
  • There will be an early minyan Erev Shabbat, April 5, at 5:30pm.

חברים יקרים,

חדש! פעילות מורחבת של ועדת החסד לקראת פסח.

ועדת החסד של בית הכנסת שלנו קיימת למעלה מ-6 שנים ועוזרת למשפחות בזמן שכול לצלוח את התקופה הקשה של אבדן יקיר/ה.

בתקופה קשה זאת, אנחנו רוצים להרחיב את הפעילות שלנו להושיט יד אחד לשני ולזקקים בגלל המלחמה בתחומי חסד נוספים:

קרה לך שיש שׂמחה במשפחה ואורחים רבים באים להשתתף, בלי שיש מספיק מקום לארח אותם?

בשביל זה יש חברים! אם אתם זקוקים למקום לארח משפחה/חברים לסיבה כלשהי, תוכלו לפרסם זאת בטופס באתר של בית הכנסת ולמצוא אנשים שיש להם מקום להציע.

אם אתם נוסעים ומוכנים להציע את הבית שלכם לשימוש חברים אחרים, אפשר גם לעשות זאת בעמצאות הטופס.

Need a place to stay? You’ve got friends! Has it ever happened that you have a special occasion coming up with many anticipated family members and friends coming to take part but you don’t have enough room for them to stay? Don’t worry: You’ve got friends! If you need room for family or friends for any reason, you can publicize this on a special form on our site and locate people who might be willing to open their homes and help out with your guests. On the other hand, if you are going away for the hagim or another time, you can let the community know that you’ll have space to offer.

קִמְחָא דְּפִסְחָא תשפ״ד

לכל חברי הקהילה:נא שילחו את תרומותיכם בהקדם כדי שנוכל להספיק להעבירם לנזקקים באמצעות שש לשכות הרווחה באזורנו. כל משפחה תקבל תלושי קניות בהתאם לגודלה ורמת נזקקותה.

את התרומות אפשר להעביר אל חשבון קרן הצדקה: 659307 בבנק הפועלים סניף 748 וּלציין: "קמחא דפיסחא". אפשר גם באמצעות התא בכניסה לעזרת הגבדים. תודה.

Please send your Kimḥa DePisḥa charitable contribution in soon, so that we can transfer help to the needy this Pesach through six agencies in our area. Every recipient will receive food coupons according to family size and need.

You can transfer your contribution to the shul's Tzedakah Fund: 659307 at Bank HaPoalim, Branch 748. Please note: "Kimḥa DePisḥa". You can also write a check and place it in the box by the men's section of the shul. Thank you.
