• The Rav’s shiur:   Beginning this Shabbat (Naso), Rabbi Vilk will resume giving his shiur between Minchah [19:05] and Arvit.
• A reminder regarding “Tav Yarok”: According to the rules of “Tav Yarok”, only those who are vaccinated or who have recovered from COVID are permitted inside the Beit Knesset. This means that children – apart from those who have recovered from COVID – may not come inside the building. Those who choose to daven inside are asked to be strict about wearing a mask that covers the mouth and nose.

חיילים הבודדים האמיצים אלה, צעירים כצעירות מהתפוצות, עוזבים את בטיחות וביטחון משפחותיהם ובתיהם כדי להגן על זכותנו לקום כל בֹּקר. אנא תעזרו להראות להם איך אומרים "תודה!"

Once again we are enlisting your help to provide full Shabbat meals for the Lone Soldier Center, only 1½ km away in Arnona. Our designated Shabbat is in two weeks, May 28/29. I am letting you all know in enough time to decide, so that we can maximize those who are cooking.

These incredibly brave young men and women from all over the world leave the safety and security of their families and homes, to defend our right to wake up each morning and go about our business. Let’s show them how we say thank you.

Anyone who can cook but cannot transport the food, please email me at shmuelgoldin@gmail.com. I will happily arrange to have your food picked up.

Those who can transport their food should please drop it off at Bet Ha'Arava on Friday morning. Exact time and address will be sent out a few days before. If necessary, a volunteer can come to your car to pick it up.

Please use the attached spreadsheet to reduce the possibility of duplication of types of food.
