וועד בית הכנסת החליט על נהלים חדשים בקשר לנוכחות של ילדים בבית הכנסת.
ילדים המגיעים לבית הכנסת שהם מגיל 5 ומעלה צריכים להיות או מחוסנים, או מחלימים, או שעברו בדיקה מהירה ביום ששי.
ילדים מתחת לגיל 5 יכולים להיות בפנים רק אם החלימו מקורונה או שעברו בדיקה מהירה בערב שבת.
ילדים בכל גיל צריכים לעטות מסכה בתוך בית הכנסת – ילדים הנשארים בֶּחצר יכולים להיות בלי מסכות.

Mazal tov to Amy and Jonathan Kalman on the birth of a granddaughter, born to their son Aaron and his wife Shachar. Mazal tov also to the great-grandparents Albert and Dorothy Gellman.

Children at the Beit Knesset
The va’ad has decided on new procedures regarding children at the shul.
Children coming to the shul who are 5 years old and above must be either vaccinated, recovered from COVID, or have taken a rapid test on Friday.
Children under the age of 5 can only be inside if they have recovered from COVID or have taken a rapid test on Friday.
Children of all ages must wear a mask inside the shul building – children who remain outside do not have to wear a mask.
We appreciate the cooperation of parents and grandparents in this matter.
חברנו ישׂראל זרוֹבּניק אוּמת אתמול (5/2) כחוֹלה קורונה. סטיב התפלל בבית הכנסת בליל שבת (תרומה) והתפלל בחוץ בחצר הפנימי.
מחוסנים מעל גיל 60 שהיו בקרבת 2 מטר ממנו במשך יותר מ-15 דקות חייבים לעשׂות בדיקת PCR. אלה המחוסנים ומתחת לגיל 60 יכולים להסתפק בבדיקת אנטיגֶ'ן מהירה ביתית. אם הבדיקה שלילית אין חובת בידוד למחוסנים ולמחלימים.

Confirmed COVID Case in Beit HaKnesset
Our member Steve Zerobnick tested tested positive on February 5 for COVID-19. He attended shul on Friday night and davened outside in the inner yard.
Those over 60 who are vaccinated and who were in close contact with him (i.e. within 2 metres for over 15 minutes) must take a PCR test. Those under 60 and who are vaccinated can take a home rapid antigen test. If the test is negative there is no quarantine requirement for those who are vaccinated or recovered.

Mazal tov to Rabbi Shmuel and Barbara Goldin on the birth of a granddaughter, Henna Bayla. Her parents are Rivka and Kivi Gordon.

This coming Monday, 29 Shvat, January 31st, the Singer family will have a “shloshim” for their mother and grandmother, Sue ז״ל. The family will meet at the grave at 3:00pm.
