פרשת בשלח – שבת שירה

  • אסיפה כללית מיוחדת של העמותה. במוצאי שבת בשלח, י״ג שבט, 4 בפברואר תתקיים מיד אחרי ערבית אסיפה קצרה מיוחדת לבחירת 

 ועד חדש לבית הכנסת. המועמדים:

  • לאור המצב הביטחוני מתפללים שיש בידיהם כלי נשק ברישיון והמיומנים בשימושם מתבקשים להגיע חמושים ל יביאו אותם עמהם בבואם לתפילות.
  • אנחנו חוזרים שוב על הבקשה לחברים הסובלים מתסמינים של קורונה (שיעול, חום וכו׳) – גם אם טרם נמצאו חיוביים לוירוס – לשקול לא להגיע לבית הכנסת.
  • קורונה – דלתות פתוחות: הקורונה עדיין אתנו. מתוך דאגה לבריאות הציבור גם בימים קרים כאלו יש להקפיד להשאיר את הדלתות פתוחות.
  • שיעורי הרב וילק לא יתקיימו השבת.

  • Special General Meeting. Immediately after arvit following Shabbat Beshalach, February 4, there will be a short special general meeting of the Amuta of the Beit Knesset to elect a new va’ad. The candidates are:

  • As we seem to be entering another wave of COVID-19, we ask that anyone with symptoms (cough, fever etc.) consider not attending Beit Knesset, even if the individual has not yet tested positive.
  • Corona – Open Doors Policy: COVID-19 is still with us. There will be days when we feel the cold, yet doors must remain open.
  • Rav Vilk’s shiurim will not take place this Shabbat.

שבתון 2023 – השבתון הירושלמי

השבתון הירושלמי בשבת פרשת שמיני 14-15.4.2023

השבתון יתקיים באכסנית רבין המשובחת שליד מוזיאון ישראל.

הטיול המסורתי של יום שישי יהיה בגוש טלמונים שבארץ בנימין. נסייר "עם תנ"ך ביד" בירכּתי הר אפרים בין יהושע בִּן נון לשמואל הנביא. בין האיש הלוי למתתיהו החשמונאי. נטייל ביער אוּם צפא — שמורת הטבע הראשונה בארץ ישראל, בעונה ההכי יפה בשנה. נבקר באתרי נווה צוף; "גבעת ההליסטון" ובה שׂרידי מפעל ייחודי בעולם לייצור יין מתוק מימי הבית השני, על דרך עולי הרגל לירושלים, מצודת הטיגרט הייחודית מימי המנדט, מעיין מקסים עם זיהוי תנ"כי מפתיע. היציאה לטיול ב-7:30 והגעה למלון ב-15:30.

יש להדגיש כי יתרון הלינה בירושלים מאפשר לנו ליהנות משבתון נפלא מבלי לסבול מנסיעות ארוכות ומתישות — וגם ליהנות מאזורי טיול קרובים אך בלתי מוכרים.

לוח הזמנים לשבת יפורסם בהקדם. העלות היא ₪1,300 לזוג, 830₪ ליחיד.

The Jerusalem Shabbaton — Spring — Parashat Shemini, April 14-15, 2023

This year’s Shabbaton will be held at the excellent Rabin Hostel next to the Israel Museum.

Friday’s traditional tiyul will be in Gush Talmonim in Eretz Binyamin. We will tour “Bible in hand” around Mount Ephraim — between Yehoshua bin Nun and the prophet Samuel — between the "man from Levi" and Matityahu Hashmonai. We will walk in the Umm Safa forest — the first nature reserve in the Land of Israel, during the most beautiful season of the year. We will visit Neve Tsuf sites: “Givat Heliston” with the remains of a factory unique in the world for the production of sweet wine from the days of the Second Temple; in the path of the olei regel (pilgrims) to Jerusalem; the unique Tegart Fort from the days of the Mandate; a lovely spring with a surprising biblical identification.

Departure for the trip will be at 7:30am, with arrival at the hotel at 3:30pm.

Note that staying in Jerusalem allows us to enjoy a wonderful Shabbaton without  a long exhausting trip — and also to enjoy nearby if unfamiliar sites.

The full Shabbat schedule will be announced soon. The cost is ₪1,300 per couple, ₪830 for individuals.
