פרשת שמיני – שבת מברכין

  • Rav Vilk’s shiurim will not take place on Shabbat.
  • Wishing all our members who are participating in the shul Shabbaton, an enjoyable Shabbat!! 
  • Reminder: the Yom HaShoah Memorial Service, conducted by Menahem Zer Kavod, will take place on Monday evening, April 17.  See details here.
  • There will be no kiddush this week (Shabbat Mevarchim), but rather next week, Shabbat Rosh Hodesh Iyar. 
  • In light of the current security situation, those licensed to carry a weapon and skilled in its use are requested to come armed to the Beit Knesset.

  • הדלקת ששה נרות על-ידי שורדי שואה
  • זהבה זר כבוד – קטע מספרו של בן דור שני לשואה מר אבי ארליך ז"ל, נצח קצר מדי – זכרונות ילדות
  • סיפורו של ילד שנולד בשואה בשנת 1941 באנטוורפן (בלגיה) מר אלימלך סטמלר
  • זהבה זר כבוד – שני קטעים מספרו של אבי ארליך הנ"ל – מתחכה אחר גורל אביו וכן מחשבות והגיגים
  • תפילת אל מלא רחמים על-ידי עזריה ריין
  • שירת "התקווה" "אני מאמין" וקדיש

הטכס מוקדש לזכרם של ניצולי השואה שהיו ממקימי 'בית כנסת עמק רפאים'.

  • HaTikvah, Ani Ma’amin, Kaddish

The ceremony is dedicated to the memories of the Holocaust survivors who founded Beit Knesset Emek Refaim.

  • מכירת חמץ: מומלץ להיעזר באתר רבני צוהר.
  • סיום בכורות עם כיבוד קל יהייה לאחר שני המניינים (ב-6:00 ו- 7:45) בערב פסח, 5/4/23 בבה״כ.
  • לקראת חג הפסח הקרב ובא אפשר להעביר תרומות לקִמחא דפיסחא באמצעות כרטיס אשראי או בהעברה מחשבון לחשבון אל קרן הצדקה בבנק הפועלים סניף 748 מספר חשבון 659307 נא לציין: "קִמחא דפסחא".
  • כמידי שנה לקראת פסח אנו אוספים את כל מוצרי המזון שאינכם רוצים בהם,
  • כולל מוצרי חמץ. ניתן להביא אותם לבית הכנסת החל מיום רביעי הבא ה 29/03 ועד יום ראשון ה 02/04 . במקום יהיו קרטונים גם בעזרת הנשים. המוצרים ימסרו לעמותות שאנו קשורים אליהם.

  • Mazal tov to Moshe and Mimi Dickman on the bar mitzvah this Shabbat of their youngest grandson, Nitai Yosef, son of Yael and Adam Zaidel.
  • Rav Vilk’s shiurim will take place this Shabbat. His Shabbat HaGadol drasha will be after mincha (6:15pm) on the topic of the mitzvah of the red heifer (פרה אדומה) in the month of Nisan.
  • Sale of chametz. It is recommended to make use of the Tzohar website.
  • There will be a first-born Siyum followed by refreshments after each of the morning minyanim (6:00 & 7:45am) on Erev Pesach, Wed., April 5.
  • With the approach of Pesach, “Kimḥa Depis’ḥa” donations may be forwarded by credit card or bank transfer to the tzedakah fund at Bank HaPoalim Branch 748, Account 659307, designating that it’s for: “Kimḥa Depis’ḥa”.
  • As every year before Pesach we gather all the food items you do not want, including chametz. You may bring those to the shul until Sunday, April 2. Cardboard boxes will also be available in the women’s section. The products will be given to organizations we are in touch with.
