בזמן האחרון יצא לאור ספר חדש של חברנו ד"ר אברהם דוד: "על במותי ארץ הצבי" (עברית ואנגלית בכרך אחד): מקורות ומחקרים בתולדות היישוב היהודי בארץ-ישראל בשלהי ימי הביניים 416 עמודים, כריכה קלה.
אסיפה כללית של חברי בית כנסת
אי"ה במוצאי שבת קודש פרשת בלק י"ד תמוז תשע"ג – 22.06.13, בשעה 20:30ֿ, תיכף אחרי תפילת ערבית תתקיים אסיפה הכללית של העמותה.
סדר היום:
- בחירת יו"ר האסיפה והמזכיר.
- סקירת פעולות השנה החולפת על ידי יו"ר הועד.
- דו"ח ועדת הביקורת.
- הצגת מאזן ודו"ח רווח והפסד לשנת 2012, דיון ואישור ע"י הגזבר.
- אישור דו"ח רו"ח.
- בחירת ועד חדש -הועד ממליץ לאישור באסיפת החברים לועד החדש: יעקב בסטהוף, מנחם זר כבוד, ציונה אביצור, אברהם דוד, שושי וילק, סוזן ימר, אלכסיס רודגולד, שמואל רוזנשיין, אהרון ריבלין, ופנחס שיפמן.
- דו"ח מילולי.
- דיון כללי: שונות, וכו'.
חברי בית הכנסת מתבקשים לבא ולקחת חלק באסיפה הכללית.
On Saturday night, June 22, at 8:30PM, right after Ma'ariv, there will be a congregation meeting.
Agenda:
- Selection of a chair and secretary for the meeting.
- Overview of the past year's activities.
- Audit Committee report.
- Review of the Profit & Loss statement, by the treasurer.
- Ratification of the P&L statement.
- New executive committee elections. The current va'ad recommends:Ya'akov Besthof, Tziona Avitzur, Avraham David, Aharon Rivlin, Alexis Rodgold, Bob Rosenschein, Pinhas Schiffman, Shoshi Vilk, Susan Yammer, and Menachem Zer-Cavod.
- Additional comment.
- General session.

Ladies –
I know it's confusing. Tammuz already? School's not even over yet. But that's the way it is with time – it just sweeps us along whether we are thinking about it or not. So, let's take a look together at Chodesh Tammuz, the Three Weeks and what this window of time is offering us. Announcing… (drum roll) The Baka Rosh Chodesh Shiur (for women) for Tammuz!
WHEN: This coming shabbat – June 15 – Parashat "Chukat" 5:45 p.m.*
*please note. we have fallen in love with starting on time. It's a long day, but we want to give everyone the chance to get back home for seudat shlishit or whatever other plans they have. The shiur will start at the time listed. If you arrive and the front door is closed – go back to the front and enter through the library. There will be seats available for you there.

WHO: Jessica Sacks – Jessica grew up in London and made aliya in 2004. She has a BA in English Literature from Cambridge and an MA in Aggada waiting patiently for completion on a shelf somewhere in the Hebrew University. She works as a liturgical translator for Koren Publications and is a graduate of Ein HaNatziv and Beit Morasha.
