In honor of Yom Yerushalayim 5774, a tefilla of celebration will take place this Tuesday evening (27 Iyar) at 7:45 p.m., followed by tefillat ma'ariv at 8 p.m. On Wednesday morning (28 Iyar), a tefilla of celebration will take place in both minyanim for shaharit (6:00 and 7:30 a.m.), with refreshments served after each minyan.

• תזכורת: סעודה שלישית לכבוד יום ירושלים תתקיים בשבת פרשת "במדבר" בשעה 18.50 (מנחה ב-18.30). בסעודה ישתתף ויספר חברנו ישראל צוריאל , שׁלָחַם בקרב על גבעת התחמושת ושחרור הכותל המערבי, בגדוד 66 חטיבה 55 בראשה עמד מוטה גור. ישראל קיבל את עטור המופת על פעולתו האישית בקרב זה.

• Reminder: There will also be a festive Se'uda Shlishit on shabbat afternoon (BaMidbar) May 24 at 6:50PM, after mincha (6:30PM), with a special talk by Yisrael Zuriel, who fought in the battle for Ammunition Hill and the liberation of the Kotel HaMaaravi in 1967, in the 55th Paratroopers Brigade led by Mota Gur. Yisrael was awarded the medal of valor for his outstanding courage in that fateful battle.

• Who: Gila Fine, editor-in-chief of Maggid Books (Koren Publishers Jerusalem). She is a teacher of talmudic narrative, and has taught at the Hebrew University, Tel-Aviv University and Pardes.  Gila is the former editor of Azure: Ideas for the Jewish Nation and the ghostwriter behind several well-known books.
• What:  "Blind Date- Blind Faith – Blind Love:  A Tale of a Mole and a Well" –  Who are the men of faith?  What happens when you agree to marry somebody you've never seen?  And how do a mole and a well come to save a marriage?  An exploration of the greatest love story of the Talmud, read through the Bavli and the Yerushalmi, Arukh HaShalem and the Shulkhan Arukh, Shakespeare and the Brothers Grimm.
