Ladies-
This year, as usual, we are continuing the WOMEN'S MEGILLAH READING – come hear nine beautiful voices sing Megillat Esther.
WHEN: Sushan Purim , Friday March 6 – at 10:00 am PROMPTLY.
WHERE: Jane's house. Rehov Zerubavel #6, Baka (off of derech beit lechem, next to the Grand Cafe)
A few reminders:
- This is a WOMEN'S reading. Children are invited if they are old (or young) enough to sit still. NO TODDLERS PLEASE! (and please remember that 2 dogs also live here)
- It is a busy day and we WILL START ON TIME. (if the front door is closed, it means we have already begun, and you can go around to the front balcony and enter by the library where there will be chairs)

REMINDER: Before and after the reading, I will be collecting "matanot L'evionim" (money for the needy) to create a "well-being" fund for the residents of the "Diplomat Hotel." This fund will include, among other services, twice weekly exercise classes, a visiting psychologist, and support services for terminal illnesses. We will be collecting CASH on the day of Purim and handing it over to the fund's administrator – Alice Jonah, the volunteer social worker at the Diplomat. I would like to collect 10,000.00 nis for this fund and we are about 1/3 of the way there. This does count halachically as one of the mitzvot of Purim. Please bring money if you would like to participate.
