יישר כח לכל אלו שתרמו בשנה שעברה סך 23,000₪, כל הכבוד! סכום זה חולק כדלקמן:
- ₪10,000 נמסרו ללשכות הרווחה בקטמון ובבקעה – תלפיות. החלוקה נעשית לנזקקים מוכרים בשתי הרמות הגבוהות של הנזקקות.
- ₪5,000 חולקו בין 31 משפחות במעון לנשים מוכות ובדירות מסתור.
- ₪6,100 נמסרו לחלוקה לנזקקים בחצר ישורון ע"י חברנו ניסים אביצור.
- היתרה בסך 2ֿ,200₪ חולקו לנזקקים ע"פ המלצות אישיות של חברי הקהילה.
חברי הקהילה מתבקשים לתרום למבצע קימחא דפיסחא גם השנה תשע"ח. יש למלא הצ'ק כשהמוטב הוא: "בית כנסת עמק רפאים, קימחא דפיסחא". את הצ'קים יש להשליך לתיבת הדאר בכניסה לעזרת הגברים, או לתרום במזומן לידי מרטין ויסברג או לבצע העברה לחשבון הבנק של קרן הצדקה 659307 בבנק הפועלים בסניף 748 סניף "דרך חברון".

Thank you and כּל הכּבוד to everyone who contributed the total of ₪23,000 last year to the Kimcha D'Pischa effort, which was distributed as follows:
- ₪10,000 was given to welfare agencies in Katamon, Bak'a, and Talpiot. The funds were distributed to the most needy.
- ₪5,000 was given to 31 families in battered women's shelters and safe houses.
- ₪6,100 was given to recipients in Chatzer Yeshurun by our member Niso Avitsur.
- The remaining ₪2,200 was distributed based on personal recommendations by members of our kehillah.
This year we encourage you to generously perform this important mitzvah and support the effort again. Checks can be written to "Beit Knesset Emek Refaim, Kimcha D'Pischa" and placed in the box by the beit knesset door. Cash can also be given to Marty Weisberg.
