    • עמותת "אישה לאישה" בירושלים פועלת מזה עשרות שנים כדי לסייע לנשים נפגעות אלימות במשפחה, ולילדיהן, באמצעות מקלט הגנה וטיפול במשפחות, מרכז ילדים חינוכי-טיפולי, מערך דירות מעבר, ותוכנית שיקום לבוגרות המקלט והדירות. קהילת בית הכנסת נמנית בין תומכיה העקביים, ומוזמנת להצטרף לאירוע ההתרמה השנתי שיתקיים ב-3/12/2025 בתיאטרון ירושלים. לפרטים ורכישת כרטיסים – הקליקו כאן.

  • Mazaltov to Dena Brueckheimer on the birth of a great-granddaughter. Mazaltov to grandparents Elchanan and Esti Brueckheimer of Zichron Yaacov, and to parents Talya and Uri Bennet.
  • For over four decades, Isha Le'isha ('Woman to Woman’) has worked to assist women victims of domestic violence and their children by means of an emergency shelter, an educational-therapeutic center for the children, an array of transitional apartments, and a community reintegration program. The Yael community has been a steadfast supporter, and is invited to join the annual fundraising event, which will take place on December 3, 2025, at the Jerusalem Theatre.   • Mazal tov to Rabbi Aaron and Pearl Borow on the engagement of their great-grandson, Ezra Zimmerman, to Miriam Levy – both from Chicago. Best wishes to the parents, Rabbi Zvi and Rachel Zimmerman, the grandparents, Joe and Becky Zimmerman, and to the entire Levy family.
  • There will be a kiddush this Shabbat after the 9am minyan, at which we will honor Rabbanit Pearl Borow on turning 90, and Ziona Avitzur and Chaya Scheuer on turning 80.
