Mazal tov to Maxine and Laurie Blendis on the sixtieth anniversary of their marriage, and to Ceil and David Olivestone on the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage. Maxine and Laurie, and Ceil and David, invite the congregation to kiddush following the 9:00 am minyan.
A double Mazal tov to Prof. Monty N. Penkower and his wife Phyllis Mayer: on the birth of their great-grandson Amichai Lavi to Ari and Tamar Penkower of Givat Hanan in Susya – grandson of Avi and Rochelle Penkower of Talmon, and Yossi and Aviva Seri of Karnei Shomron; and on the marriage of their grandson Yohanan Mayer to Devorah Silberfarb. Mazal tov to parents Eitan and Sally Mayer of Neveh Daniel, and Yossi and Miriam Silberfarb of Baltimore.
Rav Vilk will be giving his shiurim as usual this Shabbat – daf yomi at 6.30 am, and his shiur between minha and maariv.
The women’s Tehillim and learning group will not meet this Shabbat, returning on Shabbat Ki Teitzei, September 6th.
